On the morning of September 14, Philippine Time, BAIC appeared at the 2016 Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS 2016). This was another brilliance appearance of BAIC brand since its entry into the Philippines, as well as its presence as the only Chinese member of the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines (CAMPI). In the opening day, CAMPI President showed Filipino senators around BAIC’s booth, officials from the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines also visited the booth, BAIC’s management received the visitors and introduced the booth.
As a top automotive event in the Philippines, PIMS is held biennially and organized by CAMPI. This was the second appearance of BAIC brand at PIMS, laying a solid foundation for BAIC to establish its international brand image.
In 2016, BAIC substantially increased its exports to the Philippines over the same period of last year, and sped up the storefront construction in the Philippines. BAIC’s two overseas standard 4S stores in business centers will open this November, with a total area of 1,500 square meters, comparable to those of world-renowned auto brands in size. The inauguration of BAIC’s distribution stores will boost its brand power and competitiveness, and lay a solid foundation for its fast growth in the Philippines.
Next BAIC will continue to focus on the local market, adhere to customer orientation, map out a medium- & long-term business strategy specific to the Philippine market, and constantly consolidate its market position, in a bid to become the most famous and marketable Chinese brand in the Philippines, and provide Philippine customers with globalized products and all-round services.
